Cabernet Piave DOC

VINIFICATION

The crushed grapes undergo maceration in temperature-controlled fermentation tanks; after alcoholic fermentation has taken place, the colouring substances have been extracted, and once the skins have been removed, the Cabernet is clarified and filtered before being matured in steel containers.

TASTING NOTES

Cabernet is a deep ruby-red Bordeaux wine, which takes on a garnet hue as it ages. On the nose it reveals scents of ripe fruit, redcurrants and forest fruits, enclosed within a vaguely grassy overtone. Soft and flowing on the palate, lean and full-flavoured.

FOOD AND WINE PAIRING

This wine is especially suitable for drinking with meat dishes, enhancing and exalting their genuine flavours. Ideal with roasts, mature cheeses and game.
