Project Description
VINIFICATION
Grigio Cornaro is composed of Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Tocai, in different proportions. These grapes are grown separately and it is only at a later stage that they are blended. The oenological practices carried out on these vines are aimed at preserving their aromas and particular varietal features. After being harvested and crushed carefully, the grapes are then cooled and macerated for a few hours, before undergoing soft-pressing. The clean, i.e. clear must is then fermented with selected yeasts at a constant temperature of 16°C for at least 10-12 days. Once the fermentation process is complete, the wines are clarified, filtered and conserved in steel containers before being blended for bottling.
TASTING NOTES
Grigio Cornaro is the fruit of a careful, well-balanced blend of some of the finest white grape varieties in the Veneto. Straw-yellow in colour with streaking reminiscent of old gold. Pleasantly-intense fragrance; fresh, well-orchestrated and distinctively velvety on the palate.
